I’m less than 10 years removed from being a student at the University of Nebraska. And I’ve spent the last nine years working as a Designer and Art Director in the industry. I have a strong sense of what young advertising students need to know before they enter this world, and it’s my mission to provide that for them, with a combination of my first-hand knowledge, my passion for mentorship and my belief in the value of education.
I’ve had the pleasure of teaching two semesters as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln in the School of Art, Art History and Design. In my time, I was fortunate to receive thorough and thoughtful materials from the full-time faculty, including curriculum outlines and sample projects. I evolved those assets, supplementing them with visuals, content and activities that, based on my industry experience, I believed help enhance the concepts discussed. Click on the courses below to see some of those materials, and view my sample lectures and project briefs.
